Tangerine land
Although I moved to Hollywood, I still walk back and forth between Hollywood and the Fairfax District. In-between the two is the Santa Monica Strip known for its large population black homeless transgenders, made famous by Sean Baker’s film “Tangerine”. These photographs are a collection of portraits I was able to capture while passing through this unique Los Angeles subculture.
